Moderna Museet
Moderna Museet is Stockholm’s most important museum for modern and contemporary art. Located on the island of Skeppsholmen, the museum holds an exceptional collection featuring artists such as Picasso, Dalí, and Matisse alongside leading Scandinavian creators.
The museum stands next to ArkDes, Sweden’s national centre for architecture and design.


Bonniers Konsthall
Bonniers Konsthall focuses on cutting-edge contemporary art and emerging international artists. The museum regularly hosts exhibitions that explore new media, installation art, and experimental artistic practices.
Liljevalchs
Liljevalchs, located on Djurgården, is one of Stockholm’s oldest art halls but remains central to the city’s contemporary art scene. Its famous annual Spring Salon showcases new Swedish artists and modern creative trends.


Fotografiska
Fotografiska is an internationally renowned photography museum on Södermalm. Large-scale exhibitions present contemporary photographers from around the world, while the rooftop restaurant offers panoramic views of Stockholm’s harbor.


Sven-Harrys Art Museum
Sven-Harrys Art Museum combines contemporary exhibitions with a recreated art-filled home at the top of its striking golden building. The museum focuses primarily on Swedish modern and contemporary artists.
