Djurgården Church (Djurgårdskyrkan), located between Gröna Lund and Skansen on Djurgårdsvägen 74 in Stockholm, is the oldest church in the Oscars parish. It was constructed in 1828 by shipowner John Burgman. Initially, the building served as a school, but even from its inception, Sunday worship services were held there.

During the 1830s, the church was used as a cholera hospital and faced threats of demolition or sale in the subsequent decades. Since 1880, Djurgårdskyrkan has been exclusively used for worship services and activities organized by the parish. Notably, the church boasts a magnificent altar painting, which was both painted and donated by Prince Eugen (known for his home at Waldemarsudde a little further out on Djurgården).

Upstairs, there is a parish hall that can be used for events such as post-baptism coffee gatherings. Djurgårdskyrkan is also renowned for its association with the Djurgårdskyrkans vänner (Friends of Djurgårdskyrkan) association, which works to enhance the church’s worship life through various activities and outings.
