On May 19, 2021, the arena was renamed Avicii Arena in a heartfelt homage to the renowned Swedish performer and in support of youth mental health initiatives.

Once known as the Ericsson Globe, this arena is a Stockholm landmark and the largest hemispherical building in the world. Renamed in 2021 to honor the late Swedish DJ and producer Avicii, the arena now stands as both a premier venue and a symbol of mental health awareness. Since opening in 1989, it has hosted everything from pop concerts and hockey finals to Eurovision. Its striking dome is more than architecture—it’s a tribute to Swedish music and the power of global connection.
SkyView: An unforgettable experience
One of the arena’s most thrilling attractions is the SkyView glass gondola ride. This unusual attraction was put in place in February 2010 and enables guests to:

- Reach a height of 130 meters above sea level

- Experience a 30-minute tour, including a brief historical film
