View from the library of the August Strindberg residence at Drottninggatan 85 in Stockholm. Visit the writer August Strindberg’s (1849–1912) last home and library. The museum is located in central Stockholm at Drottninggatan 85, a building that Strindberg himself nicknamed the "Blue Tower" (Blå tornet). He lived here from 1908 until his death in 1912. The museum was inaugurated in 1973. The Museum consists of Strindberg’s flat and library with original furniture, as well as an area for displays of his paintings and photographs.

Tue 12–7pm, (Jan–Feb, Nov–Dec 12–4pm), Wed–Sun 12–4pm
Guided tours: Thu–Sun 1pm. Frequent tours (also in English) in summer.
