About the Drottningholm Court Theatre

The Drottningholms Slottsteater (Court Theatre) is preserved in its original condition from 1766 and one of the world’s oldest theatre still in use with its original stage settings and a remarkable 200 year old stage machinery.

This unique attraction, situated next to the home of the Royal family, is part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

The theatre can only be visited with a guide, and groups must book in advance.
