Description of Drottningholms Slott

View of Drottningholm Palace, residence of the Swedish royal family since 1981. Drottningholm Palace was built in 1662, and serves as the residence of the Swedish royal family since 1981.

Drottningholm is also one of several names of the island where the palace is situtaded.

In English Drottningholm means "Queen´s Islet" and is situated next to Stockholm by the Lake Mälaren.

October-April: Saturday-Sunday 12-3.30pm
May-August: Daily 10am-4.30pm
September: Daily 12-3.30pm
Closed: December 10, 2007 – January 4, 2008

Adults:70 kr
Children 7-18 years old and students: 35 kr
Children under 7 years of age: free
