Map of Skeppsholmen, one of many beautiful island in the city of Stockholm. Skeppsholmen was for centuries an important millitary position situated in the Baltic Sea by the entrance to Stockholm. Today you find several museums like Museum of Architecture and Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities.

A very popular summer event is the Skeppsholmen Jazz Festival gathering international jazz and soul artists from all over the world. You might also be interested in the old sailing ship af Chapman which today serves as a youth hostel.
