The Drottningholm Palace is the residence of the Swedish royal family since early 1980's. The palace is situated on the island Ekerö just outside Stockholm. The present palace was built in the 17th century, replacing the original castle from 1580.
The palace is situated in beautiful surroundings and garden. It is well worth a visit.
